Hey Y'all!

I'm just your average country gal, with a passion for making my little cottage into a beautiful little cottage. I've been living the country life for almost five years now and I'm really enjoying it out here. When I first bought the cottage, I was at a place in my life where I had lost my 'get up and go', my passion for cooking, home decor and gardening. Too many life changes at once. For the first time in my adult life, I was on my own, a tad scared and a little lonely at times. And then, as God has a way of doing in His time, He helped me to rebuild my life and start working on the cottage, the yard and get back into the kitchen, thankfully! So that's what this blog is all about. Day to day life in and around the cottage, redoing the interior, the gardens and me! I'm also back at the stove, cooking up some great recipes! Clover Cottage

Clover Cottage is tiny but it's lovely and I am so thrilled to call it 'home'. It's located in the upstate of South Carolina, near the mountains of western North Carolina. Just a few miles up Highway 11 and I have mountains all around me! I've always been a country gal at heart, but only began country life five years ago. I'm in the early stages of making the little cottage what I dreamed it could be the first day I walked through it. I'm currently between jobs, which is nice for free time to make some improvements, but not so much on the purse. All of the changes will have to be completed keeping the concept of "thrifting" constantly in mind.

I'm thrilled to have you join me here at the cottage for the day to day changes. Come on in and make yourself at home. Lord knows everybody else does...
