JD went turkey hunting this morning. At six o'clock. I'd like to go turkey hunting. But not at six a.m. More like ten or eleven. Aren't turkeys around then? Well anyway, he's coming later this morning to finish putting up the chicken wire on the new coop. Then all that's left on his end of coop building is making a wooden 'thingie' for the chickens to roost on. After that it's all up to me to get it finished. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of painting out there this week. And then the fun begins! Hopefully I'll be able to get some girls into the coop by the weekend and start decorating. Can't wait for that! I hope the coop doesn't stink like I've been told it will. I see lots of shoveling in my future...
